Terms of Service

1. Who we are

steek.ai (“steek”, “we”, “us”) is a GEO / AI-visibility analytics service operated from Estonia (EU); full legal-entity details are available on request. Contact: hello@steek.ai.

2. The service

steek measures how AI answer engines (such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews) mention and recommend brands, and reports the results with confidence intervals. The service is provided on a subscription basis at the pricing shown on our pricing page, currently from €19/month billed annually (€29.90 month-to-month), with a 10-day free trial.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: breaking the law; infringing others' rights; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service; scraping or reselling the service in breach of these terms; or using it to send spam or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• The trial is free for 10 days and requires no credit card; if you subscribe, billing begins at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Fees are stated exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. VAT), which may be added.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; we may offer refunds at our discretion.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data and content you provide. You grant steek the licence needed to process it in order to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

steek and its software, design and content are owned by us and our licensors. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual-property rights to you beyond the right to use the service.

8. Accuracy and no guarantee of results

steek reports estimates of AI visibility, sampled from AI engines and presented with confidence intervals. AI answers are probabilistic and change over time. We are honest by design and do not fabricate data, but we do not guarantee any particular AI ranking, mention, traffic or business outcome. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the service.

9. Third-party services

The service integrates with third parties (for example analytics and the AI engines themselves). We are not responsible for third-party services, and their terms and availability are outside our control.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, limitations) survive.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and disputes are subject to the competent courts there, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
